Complete Mountain Almanac is a new name featuring some familiar faces. Swedish based Norwegian artist Rebekka Karijord steers this project, her creativity interlocking with multimedia artist Jessica Dessner, joined by her brothers Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National.

Beautifully baroque songwriting, the arrangements carry a gentle delicacy, one that fits just right with these Autumnal days. Folk-hewn, the organic nature of the work thrives on the intimacy of those recording sessions, with Complete Mountain Almanac leaving everything on the table.

A full studio album lands on January 27th through the excellent Bella Union imprint, led by beautiful new song ‘May’.

Refulgent in tone, revealing in lyric, it’s a perfectly hewn piece of songwriting, with Rebekah’s voice trembling with emotion; “The greatest mysteries are not material…”
