Samantha Fish and Jesse Dayton, the 2 acclaimed songwriters and modern-day guitar heroes behind the chart-topping album Dying Want Blues, have obtained a GRAMMY® Award nomination within the Contemporary Blues Class. The 2024 GRAMMYs will likely be held on February 4th on the Crypto Area in Los Angeles, with Dying Want Blues within the working for “Best Contemporary Blues Album.”

Filled with swagger, bravado, and very good musicianship, Dying Want Blues was launched by Rounder Data in Could 2023 and immediately discovered its strategy to the highest of the Billboard Blues charts. A No 1 hit in a number of international locations, Dying Want Blues captures the synergy and free-flowing nature of Fish and Dayton’s musical partnership as they work with producer Jon Spencer to broaden past the boundaries of blues, rock, soul, and Americana.

“Jesse, Jon, and I labored so laborious to convey this album to life,” says Fish. “It was a real collaboration. I’ve been so pleased with this work since we left the studio.
