Rod Stewart wow’d the crowd at this year’s Specsavers Scottish Music Awards.

The annual celebration aims to celebrate Scottish music, all while raising funds for vital music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins. Hitting Glasgow’s famed Barrowlands – one of the country’s most revered live music venues – the night was a hit, raising more than £170,000 for charity.

Performances included Dundee heroes The View, who are set to play a sold out four night Glasgow run before Christmas. Elsewhere, Highland vocalist Tamzene enraptured the crowd, joined by Rianne Downey, Dylan John Thomas, and new wave legends Altered Images.

Winners on the night also included Lewis Capaldi and Paolo Nutini, who graciously accepted their awards via video.
