Robert Forster, a man much admired in these parts, has announced the release of his eigth solo album ‘The Candle and the Flame’ on February 3rd 2023. The album contains nine new songs, all Forster originals and is available to pre-order here In addition Forster is also in the process of writing a novel and curating the third volume of the Go-Betweens boxset series ‘G Stands For Go-Betweens’.
The first single to be taken from the album is ‘She’s a Fighter’ which is available now.
Robert Forster will be touring the UK next March with dates so far booked in Strathaven, Edinburgh, York, Hebden Bridge, Wolverhampton, Oxford, London, Brighton and Belfast. Tickets can be booked here.
