Perfume Genius has covered Radiohead’s ‘4 Minute Warning’.

The songwriter returned to the stage this year, an experience that has left him re-energised. Taking this momentum back into the studio, Perfume Genius recorded an EP of performances at New York’s hallowed Electric Lady studios.

Tackling his own ‘Whole Life’, ‘Photograph’, and ‘On The Floor’, Perfume Genius also delivered a show stopping take on the ‘In Rainbows’ era Radiohead cut ‘4 Minute Warning’.

Out now, boasts spartan but illuminating and emotionally knotting takes, that carry a fresh character of their own. Perfume Genius comments:

I am happy to have a document of the new vibrancy and rousing spirit my band brings to the live versions of our most recent albums. ‘4 Minute Warning’ became a favorite of mine during lockdown, something I would sit and sing over and over on the piano in my room. I’m happy to be out of that room now and sharing again.
