Muna have shared a cover of Taylor Swift’s ‘august’.
The band released their excellent new album earlier this year, a self-titled effort packed with revelatory pop daring. Since then, they’ve played some scintillating live shows, and return to London in November for a night at the Roundhouse.
Recently Muna went back into the studio, settling down at a historic audio complex to work anew. Hitting up New York’s Electric Lady Studios, Muna re-visited some material from their recent album, alongside a couple of brand new endeavours.
Slipping into a slinky cover of perennial R&B ear-worm ‘Silk Chiffon’, Muna have also shared their beautifully frank, heart-on-sleeve take on Taylor Swift’s ‘august’.
