Creative polymath Louis Cole has shared dextrous acoustic workout ‘Not Needed Anymore’.
The musician’s incoming album ‘Quality Over Opinion’ is out on October 14th, a broad-ranging work that features an epic 20 strong tracklist. Veering from electro-funk to jazz via classic songwriting, it was all laid down at his home studio, the work of a true multi-disciplinary.
Out next month, he comments: “This album is a representation of me trying to make the best, most powerful and listenable music I can. For myself and also others…”
Recent single ‘I’m Tight’ was a seven-minute funker, but Louis Cole switches it up on new song ‘Not Needed Anymore’. Deft flurries of acoustic notes underpin his coy vocal, while the percussion comes from the musician clapping his hands and slapping his body.
Tune in now.
