London rapper ShaSimone has shared her debut EP ‘Simma Down’ in full.
Out now, it’s a project marked by her thirst for independence, an artist moving in her own lane. Speaking from the heart, singles such as ‘Thug Affection’ and ‘LOCK OFF’ display her versatility, switching up between vulnerability and straight fire bravado.
She’s a nailed-on features artist, too, having appeared on Lethal Bizzle’s ‘Dapper Dan Remix’ and CLIPZ’s ‘No Time’, alongside Nia Archives, Cristale and Beenie Man.
Her debut EP ‘Simma Down’ is out now, and it boasts wicked features from Alté trailblazer BOJ and North London hero Avelino on ‘Ten Toes’ and ‘Future’ respectively.
ShaSimone comments…
“It’s a body of work that shows the growth in my music and my growth as an individual. The title is a play on words, my nickname being Simma and the definition of simmer – a state or temperature just below boiling point.”
Tune in now.
