Chiiild has shared his new single ‘Antidote’.
The American alt-R&B talent likes to keep fans guessing, continually shifting his approach from release to release. Recently pairing with Lucky Daye on the soulful piledriver ‘Good For Now’, he once again looks to solo experiences on incoming album ‘Better Luck In The Next Life’.
Set to land on March 3rd, it was inaugurated with Autumn release ‘Bon Voyage’, and the previews continue with new single ‘Antidote’.
The delivery is velvet, the vocal suggestive, with Chiiild’s lyrics discussing love and infatuation.
The songwriter comments…
“’Antidote’ is about being enamored by a person. It describes the infatuation of watching someone live life optimistically and simply wanting a piece of that because they symbolise the light for you. It is a representation of the idea that this person could save me from any emotional or physical struggle.”
