Biig Piig has laid out plans for her debut mixtape ‘Bubblegum’.
The soulful pop all-rounder touches back down on UK soil next month, playing two nights in London’s Hoxton Hall (November 3rd and 4th). Long-since sold out, she’ll hopefully air new material – after all, she’s been working through a creative spell.
New mixtape ‘Bubblegum’ is out on January 20th, an era triggered by recent single ‘Kerosene’. Biig Piig switches it up once more on dancefloor cut ‘This Is What They Meant’ blending club energy with confessional lyricism.
Her voice purrs as she sings: “This is what they meant when they said / that I could be selfish / I couldn’t help it…”
Out now, it’s a song about “experiencing the city through someone else’s eyes, and wanting to stay in that moment regardless of the consequences.”
Tune in now.
